Table data modifier

Table Data Modifier is an extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central that allows authorized users to directly view and modify field-level data in any permitted table — without requiring developer tools, a sandbox environment, or table extensions.

Key capabilities:

• Edit, insert, or delete records in any pre-approved Business Central table.
• Granular per-table permission control (Allow Modify / Insert / Delete).
• Mandatory change-reason field to enforce business justification.
• Full, tamper-proof audit log recording every change: who, what, when, old value, new value, and reason.
• Two permission set tiers: full admin access and read-only audit viewer.

Important: This tool bypasses standard Business Central business logic for the purpose of data correction. Use it only for legitimate data fixes and always enter an accurate reason. Every action is permanently logged.
